Year 2012 marks 100 years since Felipe Fort used a stone to refine the first Felfort cocoa. Back then, Felipe was just 12 years old.
From his early days, when he produced 5 kilos of handmade chocolate per night, we evolved to what we are today: an Argentinean company which industrial level can be benchmarked to the most advanced industries around the world.
THE FIRST REFINER
At 18, a young Felipe Fort bought the first mechanical refiner, achieving a sharp increase in production capacity, setting Felfort apart from the rest for the quality of its chocolates. Soon after that, he began producing bonbons.
The company’s reputation started to grow based on product excellence and its assortment began to steadily grow. First candies, then Eastern eggs – which were imported from Europe until then - followed by the magnificent line of nougat candies produced by excel nougat candy masters.

In 1963, Carlos Augusto Fort, founder’s son, held Felfort’s chairmanship and under his office the company experienced a huge expansion.

In 1987 the plant covered 12,500 sq m and, nowadays, is constantly growing.
It is fitted with one of the most state-of-the-art technology in the country and a staff of directors and workers who abide to the quality standards set from its onset and improved as a result of continuous improvement.

Felfort's sustained growth builds on every goal achieved in consistency with the premises Felipe Fort upheld from the company’s origin.
The founder’s grandchildren are now responsible for continuing with this family-run business, focusing their efforts on: the ultimate level of excellence.
Nowadays, the company manufactures a wide variety of successful products, competing on equal terms with foreign companies from the main development hubs worldwide.
Chocolates, candies, cereals, eastern eggs, nougat candies, functional and low calorie food make up a wide range of products that meet the needs of the most diverse markets.
As a sign of its fully Argentinean nature, Felfort motto claims: If it is chocolate…it is Felfort.
